Why Forums are Great for Generating Post Ideas

Slow news days/writer’s block, they both happen. So what is a blogger to do when they simply cannot think of a topic to write about? Simple, search the forums in your blog’s niche. Forums are filled with people looking for and sharing information so look at what other people that are interested in your blog’s topic are talking about. See what questions they are asking and then can create a post that answers these questions.

For example, say you run a blog about cell phones and cannot come up with any ideas for a post. All you have to do is visit a large cell phone forum and see what people are talking about. Look through the most popular recent posts and soon enough, you should come up with an idea. I have used this technique hundreds of times to find post ideas for my blogs and it usually works like a charm.
