Blog Review: My Acne Blog
Its time for another Blog Review. Today we are reviewing My Acne Blog, a blog, as the title suggests, about acne.
Pros
- Nice Design. Good to see the consistent blue theme to it.
- Nice About Me page. It includes some background information about who you are and what the purpose of the blog is.
- Good blending with AdBrite colors
- Quality content with useful lists and information about your personal experiences.
Suggested Changes
- Add a picture of yourself to your About Page.
- Add a “Contact Me” page
- Try to post on a more frequent basis. You will have 4 posts in 4 days and then no posts for a week. Readers like consistency so if whether you post once a day or once a week, stick to a routine.
- I don’t like the Buy.com ad that appears after some time. it takes away from the reader experience. If anything, have that ad come before the blog loads as many magazine company websites do.
To market this blog, you may want to add you content to the StumbleUpon Health section and search for forums about General Life/General Discussion and become active in the health section occasionally posting links to your company’s blog. Try to find other health/acne bloggers as well and work out some sort of guest posting agreement.
