Wordpress Plug-In: Link-A-Dink
The Link-A-Dink plug-in is a cool new tool that allows you to change a word to a link every time it appears in a post. For example, every time you use the word “computer” in your blog posts, it will link to a URL of your choosing.
There are a lot of ways this plug-in can be used, but in my opinion, the most effective use would be to sell words as advertisements. For example, if a hosting company wants to advertise on your site, use Link-A-Dink so that every time you post the word hosting, it links to their website. This would be an advertising form that I would think many companies would want to utilize as it gets their ad in the content of posts.
Off course, there could be credibility issues so insure that readers know you are using the plug-in and for what words you are using it, and that you don’t sell too many words so posts look cluttered with links. I will not be using Link-A-Dink as an advertising source for the credibility issues. I may use it to lead readers to other portions of the site. For example, link the word wiki, to the BlogOnExpo Wiki. What do you think of this idea?

Thanks for sharing this Plug In. I’m wondering, what kind of issues will this pose for inter-linking. A couple of questions from an idiot here…
Can this inter-linking get out of hand and cause problems in how your sitemap is read by Search Engines? What possible problems will this pose for how your pages are indexed?
Thanks for your reply.

can this plug in work in widgets also????
