Wordpress Plug-in: Share Posts from your BlogRoll
I know a lot of bloggers maintain a “Blogroll”, or a list of links to other blogs or websites that the blogger recommends and respects. Today, I came across a Wordpress plug-in that takes the concept of a blogroll to the next level.
This plug-in, BuddyLove, allows you to automatically display links to recent posts bloggers in your blogroll have made, over just boring static links to the blog’s homepage.
This not only ads value for readers, it makes the Blogroll and sidebar more interesting and engaging. Above is a screenshot of how the plug-in looks when installed. Below is a description from he creator
Buddy Love WordPress Widget allows you to display a configurable number of the latest headlines from sites listed in your WordPress blogroll. You can specify a picture in the “Image Address” field for each link so that each headline will bear a unique image from the site that it was pulled from.
