7.6 Billion Videos Streamed in US during April 2008

Still wondering whether adding a video component to your site is a smart idea? From April to March, the number of video streams in the US jumped 9% from 6.9 billion streams to 7.6 billions streams. These 7.6 billion video streams were watched by over 119 million people who watched over 60 videos a month, which equates to just over 142 minutes.

Below, we have a list of where the majority of these videos were viewed. As you can imagine, YouTube was number one with over 4 Billion streams, while Fox was significantly behind at second with just over 328 Million streams. Hulu rounded out the top ten with over 60 Million streams.
