Apple to Create Gigantic 20,000 Sq. Foot Store on Las Vegas Strip
Its no secret that Apple stores are among the most popular technology retail stores in the world. The stores are clean, organized, and all the technology is on display and can be tested.
Apple has been known to create giant stores in major cities (see New York and Boston) and Las Vegas is apparently no exception. The company has announced that it will be a crucial part of the $8 billion CityCenter resort that will open next Fall on the strip and feature over 500,000 sq. feet of retail space.
The uniquely designed “crystal” Apple Store in the resort will be over 20,000 feet spread over two floors.
I cannot wait until this opens.

Well Apple stores make more money per square foot of retail space than almost any other shop- It’s possibly the most profitable retail business in the world. So having a megastore in a city where people spend lots of money relative to the rest of the country makes extremely good sense, no matter the cost.
It’s well known that people who buy Apple products have far more money than sense.
So it makes sense to lure them to Vegas where they’ll probably blow all their money in the casinos
“So you sure we’re gonna win?”
“oh Edward, I’m certain we’ll win, as certain as I am that my Ipod won’t malfunction after less than 6 months”
“Wait… what?”
It looks a lot like the Toronto Museum. I wonder if the same buy designed it.

That is pretty intense looking! What do they plan to sell in there that will make back what they are paying for it though? Honestly, I doubt it ever profits enough to pay that back. That’s including the fact that each ipod has at least a $100 profit off what it costs to make…
