My name is Aditya Mahesh and I am a web entrepreneur and blogger based out of Boston, Massachusetts.
I got my start in the web after reading an article in Business 2.0 about domianers, who make money buying and selling web domain names. After buying a few domains, but not getting any takers, I started developing the domains into websites and blogs. That was nearly 4 years ago.
I have worked on dozens of web projects, many which attract hundreds of thousands of visitors every month. The one project that I most want to share with you (and am the most proud of) is ClipAid.com. ClipAid.com is a website with various pictures, videos, and odd news stories, and all revenue generated from ads is donated to the United Nations’ World Food Program to feed the hungry all around the world.
Whats BlogOnExpo?
The goal of BlogOnExpo is to make the experience of attending an industry conference available to all. With prices reaching up to $1000 to attend a conference, when conference passes and travel experiences are taken into consideration, it is no surprise that attending a conference is out of many people’s budgets. Hence, we have attempted to recreate the conference experience online, where the same information can be accessed for free.
BlogOnExpo is a conference covering the topic of blogging. Our first expo launched on January 15th and was a great success. The expo features sessions from some of the leaders in the blogging community, as well as an exhibit hall, forum for discussion, and of course, the very own BlogOnExpo blog. The next conference is set to launch in late spring so in the main time, feel free to create an account at our forum and read our blog.
