1. Tell us a little about yourself and how you got started blogging?
I started blogging almost two years ago. In the beginning it was just a hobby, a way to share my opinions about the topics I was interested in.
Over the time I started to realize the immense potential of the Internet. I really don’t think my ideas are that great, yet there were thousands of people reading them, so something must be going on, I figured.
After one year or so blogging for hobby I decided to quit my job and work full time on the Internet. It is the best decision I have ever made.
2. Your blog is made up of a team of different writers. What advice do you have for bloggers looking to hire other experts to write for their blog?
First of all you need to have a good budget to work with. I tried to hire cheap writers in the past, but after a couple of weeks they will stop producing the content.
You get what you pay for, so be prepared to spend money to get quality people working with you.
3. From looking over your blog, it can be seen that you primarily utilize direct advertising. Why don’t you use many advertising networks and how has this worked for you?
Ad networks always eat a share of your profits. Why share with other people the results from your hard work? Sure, for small blogs ad networks represent a more viable solution since they can leverage a bigger mass and more credibility to get advertisers. Once you grow enough, however, the best thing you can do is to go with direct advertising.
4. What advice do you have for bloggers trying to get direct advertisements for their blog?
Wait until you have a popular enough blog, a professional looking design and a focused audience. I wrote a very extensive article on that topic, you can find it here.
5. What is the number one thing you have learned from running DailyBlogTips?

6. What is the number one piece of advice you have for bloggers?
