Welcome to the Blogging Hall of Fame.
The Blogging Hall of Fame was created to recognize the most successful and influential individuals in the blogging community. All of the inducted bloggers have impacted the blogosphere in one way or another, whether it by creating a widely read blog or developing a tool or service used by bloggers everywhere.
The Hall of Famers who have been inducted are categorized below.
The following bloggers are considered for Induction in our first over round. The voting polls will soon be released. A “YES” vote of 65% is needed for induction. Polls open until March 15th.

John Chow
Whether you like him or hate him, there is no denying that John chow has become a blogging sensation. His blog, JohnChow.com , where he blogs about how to make money online among other things, has become a money making machine earning a CPM of over $100, which equates to around $25,000 a month. The blog is an experiment to see if people can make money blogging and has sparked a new trend of “make money online” blogs springing up all over the place. JohnChow is a Top 50 Blog according to Technorati.

Matt Cutts
Matt Cutts’ blog is another one of the top destinations in the SEO community. He works at Google and specializes with Google search and search engine optimization techniques. He is known for being a strong supporter for Google’s Webmaster Guidelines and fighting link spam. The blog is currently ranked in the Top 100 in Technorati.

Rand Fishkin
Rand Fishkin is being nominated for extraordinary use of a blog to promote a business. Rand runs SEOMoz, a search engine optimization firm, and the SEOMoz blog has become one of the most popular blogs in the SEO community. Not only does SEOMoz have a blog, it allows users to publish their own posts with the best posts appearing on a separate YOUMoz blog.

Darren Rowse
Darren Rowse blogs at ProBlogger.net, the go to website for information about making money blogging. It receives over 20,000 daily pageviews and is a Top 20 Blog according to Technorati. Darren Rowse is also one of the co-founders of B5 Media, another one of the largest and most successful blog networks.

Mark Cuban
Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the NBA Dallas Mavericks, blogs about business and his personal experiences over at BlogMaverick.com. As one of the most successful business men of the modern era, people listen to what he has to say. His posts are well known for being in-depth and fully explaining his ideas

Brian and Lisa Sugar
Brian and Lisa sugars are the founders of the Sugar Publishing network, a network for blogs mainly targeted at woman. The network features blogs like PopSugar, about celebrity news, DearSugar, a blog that gives personal advice to readers, FabSugar, a blog about the latest trends in fashion and beauty, and others. They have raised $5 Million in funding and the network on a whole receives over 40 million monthly page views.

Jeremy Schoemaker
Jeremy Schoemaker, the owner of Shoemoney.com, is a renowned online marketer who is most famous for this $132,000+ Google AdSense check and is well-known and respected at a few webmaster forums. Shoemoney.com is his personal blog where he chronicles his experiences making a living online. It is also a Top 50 blog according to Technorati.

Frank Warren
Frank Warren is the founder of PostSecret, an “ongoing community art project” where users send in postcards or pictures with their secrets published on them. It is one of the Top 20 Blogs in the World according to Technorati and is one of the most popular blogs hosted on the Blogger platform.

Graham Hill and the TreeHugger Staff
Graham Hill is the founder of Tree Hugger, the eco-friendly blog on the web. The site has over 40,000 RSS subscribers. The blog has nearly 2 Million monthly readers and is ranked as one of the 20 Most Popular Blogs on the web according to Technorati.

Induction
Do you know a blogger who should be inducted into the blogging hall of fame? Than nominate him/her! To be considered as a potential member of the Blogging Hall of Fame you must be nominated. To make a nomination, simply e-mail your nomination to blogginghalloffame [at] gmail.com. Make the Subject Field “Nominate: Blogger Name”. You can then tell us why you are making this nomination in the e-mail.
Please note that admission into the Blogging Hall of Fame is very selective and to be considered, you must not only be nominated, but also have an influential blog or blogging related tool/service/product that has changed or greatly influenced the blogging community.
The Hall of Fame review committee will look at all nominations and each month, a few blogs will be placed on a ballot for induction into the blogging hall of fame. The general public will then be able to vote on whether or not the blog should be inducted. A “YES” vote of 65% is required for admission. There is no limit to the number of times a blog can be considered for induction, though if denied, it must wait at least two months until it can be reconsidered for admission.
BlogOnExpo
The Blogging Hall of Fame is run in conjunction with BlogOnExpo, the digital conference for bloggers. This is why the hall of fame is set up on the BlogOnExpo website.
